Picked up a 4 hour ban just now for warning Sensei John Kreese that Prefers Cock was getting people banned for calling him Prefers Cock.

Looks like Kreese may have picked up a perma ban - though it could be just 24 hours.

From what I can make of this completely arbitrary, unspecified bullshit, you can't use the word "Prefers" in place of Preferred when talking about Prefers Cock.

Since they're popping people for using Prefers Cotton or (fucking a...) Prefers Fiber, "prefers" is clearly the word in violation of the Terms of Service.

I think one of you who is getting banned needs to plead your case to Andrew and/or Brandon. This sounds like a single mod acting like a dipshit, much like the time Muy started getting pissed and banning everyone when he was a mod. Remember what happened there....enough people complained to Brandon that he got offed as a mod, and everything immediately got better.

Andrew is the one doing this. He responded to an email as to why I was banned. If someone else wants to email Brandon, go for it. I don't have the patience for it.

Andrew is NOT the one handing out bans. I can almost guarantee you this. He's not the type to go off on "vendettas" like this. Plus I don't think he spends that much time on Rivalries. I am 99.9% certain it is a single mod doing this, and maybe not even one that is ever on Rivalries very much.

If Andrew's last name is Kilzer, it is absolutely the Andrew that is doing this.

brandon is pretty much hands off and the mods pretty much mod how they see fit (hence the inconsistency) bashing brandon for this is kind of unecessary because he probably doesn't even know about it (chris neither). either way, it's his site so he's going to run it how he sees fit (pretty much like me but i prefer no moderation at all except for a few things). this is the reason why the shack was born: to give everyone an out to do the shit that will get them banned on texags. that way they can keep posting there and carry on with the over the line shit here. of course, the shack kind of went in it's own direction and stands on it's own somewhat. it still revolves around texags very much though. of course we all post there so it's understandable that shit will spill over from there. it's not like aggie resistance or twa though in that it's not about finding ways to cause chaos with the texags staff. we will plot out shenanigans and shit to pull on rivalries though (see the fake missy exposure etc.)

Fair enough but every time I email moderators for the explanation on why I was banned, I get an email back from Andrew. Also, every time I send an email back to Andrew asking for more detail or to plead my case, I NEVER get an email back. There's always the one email for why and nothing else.

it was more of me wondering how much you all knew about the mod tools since moderation is talked over here somewhat regularly. i have a fair understanding of what they have but i wasnt insinuating anything special in my post. they have tools on par with any other heavy traffic board.
