i told my brother the other day. if sherm doesn't work out, we need to hire Ron Zook to come here and recruit for two years and then higher a coach.

Non Conference 4-0...so what if we lost to UH last year, we shouldn't have, this year it's at home...3 TD win
BU - it's BU, we never lose to them 5-0
ISU - see above 6-0
CU - sure, we've never won up there, but that was leach's fault 7-0
MU - 1-5 against them in Big 12 play, but no Chase daniel = win 8-0
OSU - it's at home, easy 9-0
A&M - we shouldn't have lost last year, poor aggie 10-0
UT - no colt, overrated, lost tons of players, etc, etc...just look what happened last time we played UT in Lubbock 11-0
OU - no bradford, overrated, lost tons of players, etc, etc...tough game, but we'll be rolling 12-0
NU - no suh, overrated, lost tons of players, etc, etc...70-10...bwahahahaa... 13-0

winning is just gravy in year one.

he needs to get involved with the Alumni, learn who is on his team, establish relationships with the High School coaches

it is not like you can't do all that AND win, but year one is kind of a pass, in my book.

Stoops and Meyer kind of broke the mold with what they inherited, but that is the exception and an unrealistic expectation, in my opinion.
