In addition to demanding the $20 mil guaranteed TV money, we should have demanded that the exclusivity windows in the TV contract be done away with, allowing us to be on TV more, or made the Big 12 agree to allow schools to do their own subscription based live online video broadcast of home games that don't get picked up for TV.

Not that Byrne gives a shit about being on TV.

To me, this was the far and away #1 reason why we should have gone to the SEC. It's just absurd that we'll likely be the least televised college football team in America again this year. Our season opening game has not been televised in 5 years (2005 @ Clemson was the last time). 5 freaking years. That means when recruits sit down to watch the opening weekend of college football, they don't see us, making us an afterthought before the season even gets started.
