Anyone keeping up with Big 12 Baseball?

I didn't ever like Larry Hayes, and I decided I'd start following Tech baseball when they finally got rid of his old ass. They seem do be doing a pretty good job under a 2nd year coach and not being able to field a full roster (or so it seems). Definite step up from Hayes. Definitely need some good relief arms, too.

They have absolute power pitching in their bull pen that NEVER gets into the games.
We have three guys starting games that would be the Friday night starter on most of the teams in the Big 12.
The defense is spectacular and now the hitting is catching up.
"Peaking too early" is a legitimate concern as momentum has a prominent place in this game, but so does talent, and that isn't going anywhere.
I think that they are clearly the best team in the country....not on hype, but on a bunch of guys developed by Skip Johnson, whom I had doubts about until this year, that are absolute witches on the mound.
Sorry for the rah, rah response, but I do believe that they are that good.

if he gets the new stadium built, i think he might actually be able to recruit.
he got top tier talent to Corvalis, OR...so surely he can get some to Lubbock.

Let him go and start over again. This time not with a buddy of his from his Nebraska days or some guy recommended to him by an old Nebraska buddy, but a guy with a proven record as a head coach at the Division 1 level.

He is a bud and knows this fucking game.....can recruit his ass off and could be a LOOOOONG term answer.
I would make me sick to see him go to the enemy, but for you all and him it would be a step up.

Harrington is a very good coach. I hope the Ags don't get him, but I would still respect the hell out of him if they did.

That fucking jackass couldn't coach my son's t-ball team.
I know he's your bud, but he's a grade-a cocksucker and not a good coach.

he has taken a program that was DOA with no budget and zero support and has them in regional play every year and on the fringes of the baseball rankings (as dubious as those are).
He is VERY connected with the high school and jr college coaches in the state and would have broken field running with TAMU's resources.
You two actually remind me a lot of each other.
What did he do to piss you off?

you and i have had this conversation before. he's a prick, and he doesn't deserve to be "leading" any young men to play this great game
