Rumored price: $799
Gotta think that with a MIR and 2-year-contract, it'll go for ... $299? Sprint is dying for contracts, so I think they'd be crazy to go any higher than that.

If they let me keep my SERO plan, I am in for a 2 year contract in a heart beat.

Same blogs talk about a $59 plan.

The Sprint CEO talked about moving pricing to Gigs, rather than minutes. And the Clearwire president said their network can handle anything right now. He said he's got some guys doing 1 TB a month over the 4G network.

The most I've ever used my old 3G card was 5GB, which would've put me up against the edge of most plans, and that's when I was out for about a month. This month, I probably nuked the Clear 4G network for 50 GB, since I watched most of the conference tourneys and 1st week of the NCAAs on my laptop.

Those Windows Series 7 phones look cool, too. The interface is badass. I'm just engorged with 4G at this point.

4G is great, its just in infancy right now. hardware has surpassed network speeds for mobile devices. network technology has progressed very rapidly in physical connections with people in major usage areas getting optical connections to personal residences, but wireless is still moving slow. content is shifting to web based delivery and 4G is going to essentially put the cable and phone companies out of business. they are all shifting their wiring networks to backbone networks that support the traffic that the wireless towers generate. we now live in a world controlled by data transfers, and wireless radio signals are the current bottleneck.

I wish I hadn't locked into a 2yr contract on the Clear 4G card now that the Evo will act as a 4G hotspot for linked devices. Oh well. Bandwidth is like HDD -- there's no such thing as too much.
