or _urant, or whatever.

This dude is getting crazy good.

Comparisons to LeBron are now not off the table, and KD is a better shooter.

He just passed EVERYONE that has ever played professional basketball, but MJ,in number of games scoring 25 points or more.

He is closing in on MJ fast.

He is days away from passing Carmelo for the scoring lead.

He is 22.

What do the basketball intellegencia here think about what is going on with this guy?

I would ask on TexAgs, but can't.

I would ask on the Horn boards, but I already know what they will say.

Specifically Puddy and Houston

These numbers are getting into the "never been done before" realm...like they did for him in college.

I agree..he has holes in his game still, most specifically D, but he's an incredible offensive talent.

Great player, no doubt at all about that. I'm still baffled as to how Barnes only got to the 2nd round with both him, Augustin, James, and Abrams in the lineup. That's a different discussion altogether.

I think he is in the discussion with LeBron and Kobe, but not near as complete of a player as those 2 yet. Those guys can get to the hole a lot better than he can. LeBron can do that whenever the hell he wants and nobody is stopping him. That's the benefit of being a guard who is 6'9 260 lbs of pure muscle. He probably has a better jumper than LeBron, but definitely not Kobe. To me, I think he needs to spend more time getting bigger/stronger to be as good/complete as those guys (probably stating the obvious). That said, he has the benefit of being able to get clean looks pretty much whenever he wants with his height and length, as he has a sick jump shot.

As everyone else has said, if he had a better cast than what he does his team would easily be a contender. Portland has to be kicking themselves right now. He could be playing with Roy, Aldridge, and Miller. That would be a pretty sick team and easily top 3 in the West. They've got a serviceable center, which is all they would need with that lineup of guards and forwards. The problem is that OKC is going to be on the verge of playoffs/non-playoffs with their current team, so the only way they're going to get him a better team is via free agency or trade. They're not going to be able to get another elite level player in the draft anymore.

Portland was also the team that took Sam Bowie over Jordan.
