No team and I mean NO TEAM can blow a game at the line like Texas can.

Some shakeups need to happen amongst Texas/A&M/Tech regarding basketball god damnit. I'm sick of this shit.

I remember when Texas had actual basketball players instead of gigantic fucking mongoloids who can't sink free throws but can drool all the way to a monster dunk.

I remember when A&M had much-in-the-clutch Acie Law III and the like and could cut your jugular down the stretch.

I remember when Tech was fielding players like Ronald Ross and Jarrius Jackson, who seemingly could bat the ball in from half court with their dicks for a nothing-but-net three pointer.

What the fuck happened? This was only like 4-5 years ago.

I'll back up houstontexan on this one. I agree with him about Turge. Stop making bullshit excuses all of the time. Roll with what you have. He still hasn't shown that he can take us to that next level. I like him, but I'm just ready for the up and down bullshit to stop. We will win a game like that and turn around and struggle at home against shitty teams. I'm real nervous about that Baylor game. So far he has "maintained" and if we're satisfied with going to the tourney every year, then nobody should complain about him, because that is what we'll get. However, we need to start turning the corner. We've got the facilities, we're getting the buzz, and we're getting the crowds/atmosphere. With all of the resources that he has, and all of the talent in Texas, there is no reason for him not to have us improving. HT is at every single game supporting the team...he has season tickets. He wants the Ags to do well....hell he even told me yesterday that he thought we had a good shot of beating Mizzou prior to the game.

All of that said, that was a huge fucking win last night....huge. It could very well be a turning point, we shall see. I think 9-7 in the conference with the loss of D-Ro would definitely be acceptable and definitely get us in (hopefully off of the 8/9 spot though). I'm liking the improvement that I'm seeing out of Middleton. Loubeau had a damn good game last night, but needs to parlay that into more good games. His defense still isn't there yet. We really need that Baylor game to show some consistency and that we belong in the top 1/3 of the conference.

this is texas a&m. we are not going to find someone to take us to that next level. anytime a coach comes in and starts winning like bcg, the dude is going to bolt for a better program. that's just the way it is.

That's a bullshit mentality. Groff unfortunately had that same mentality which is why we were happy with a worthless bastard like Melvin Watkins. There is no legit reason why we can't get players in here and get to sweet 16s.

i'm a little worried by the lack of guard recruits. next year you have dash and bj. after that, tons of inexperience. then you go another year before a guard recruit comes in and you're depending on a frosh. he may or may not turn out to be all he's hyped up to. all those power forwards, centers etc are good and all but wha happens when you can't get them the ball or beat a press? losing sloan , roland and davis might be a huge blow next year, those are some big shoes to fill

baylor and texas are cleaning up with the big names in texas and A&M isn't keeping up
Never argue with a moron. They will bring you down to their level and beat your ass with their experience.

Obviously you haven't seen Middleton play. He is going to be a player. Walkup can also play the 3 position when we want to go with a bigger lineup. Basically, the only guard we will be replacing will be Sloan, albeit that is a pretty huge replacement.

Plus, you don't give a shit about A&M hoops anyways, so why do you care? You're a UNC fan.

everyone bitches about turg and not playing BCG defense. We shut the fuckers pretty much down from 3:30 till the end. Same at Mizzou.

Luckily BJ finally hit some shots. Fucking Nate is a scared bitch when it comes to shooting. BCG junior class really isn't turning about to be that good.

Losing Sloan next year will be a tough replacement. I was hoping Dash would be able to fill that gap, but hes got a long ways to go to be in sloans zip code.

Loubeau, Turner, Middleton have me pretty excited, but next year the guard spot is gonna to be a big question mark.

Sloan has been unbelievable this season....he puts us on his back. Stepping up into Acie category in my eyes, minus all of the buzzer beaters of course.

i've liked sloan since he was a freshman and it's good to see him doing so well. he's going to be tough to replace. davis too. he might catch a lot of grief on texags but he brings it every game whether it shows up in the box score or not. hopefully, those two will go out with a nice tourney run this year. they deserve it

It will be hard to replace Sloan, BD will be easier. Dude can't hang onto the fucking ball anyway. I think David and Ray will fill in fine next year.
