i think there is going to be marked improvement over last year. record might not be drastically changed but i think the end product on the field will. recruiting is doing much better than it did under fran as well

How players hold up will determine if we implode by seasons end. We just can't have the entire OL hurt for most of conference play again.

i wish we could hit the fast-forward button to two years from now to see how this administration is going to work out.

is that something she's been known to do before?

I don't see anyone on the schedule we lost to last year who we can beat this year. Except maybe Baylor, and only if the O-line starts to jell by late in the year.
On the flip side, I am starting to get a little intrigued by Sherman's recruiting; provided he can get em on campus, keep em on campus and coach em up.

Kansas State. We should also pick up a game in non-conference, barring some sort of Arkansas State-type meltdown. Should be 3-1 instead of 2-2.

I dunno. This bunch wasn't necessarily a juggernaut on the road last year.
BUT, like a politician, I'll "revise and extend" my remarks. IF team morale is better with the departure of kids who didn't want to get with the program (Goodson and Lane for instance), another year of work for Sherm's staff and a break or two this team could go 5-7.
What would help enormously is if Sherm could beat someone this year to give us some hope. Beating Texas or OU is probably out of the question, but man a victory against Arkie or Tech would do wonders to improve the outlook of lots of Aggie fans. This one anyway.

Well we did win as many games on the road (2) as we did at home last year.
