So, I am out with my buddies and get a message. "I am going out with my new coworkers and told them you would come. Are you available? Pick me up at 'said time'".
This does not mean I am going to drop what I am doing and come meet these new people. This, also, does not give you the fucking right to be pissed that I am not coming out to meet your new fucking coworkers.
However, I was never informed that you were actually working on said day nor that I was booked to do anything on said night. I have no problem meeting your friends or new coworkers.
So, you are in fact the one that fucked up by committing me to a meet and greet without actually consulting me.
Fellas, am I right?
