your policy is your policy.
I need to be clear.
I wish to be "unregistered" from your web site and for my credit card never to be billed from your entity again. Not one penny.
You have had what I believed to be the best intra-scholastic sports web site on the Internet for years.
It has now gone to shit and your banning of "morethanthreeyards" is the final straw.
I, Tommy Smith, wish to be no longer affiliated with this web site nor do I permit you to charge my card any more money for such a decaying product.
Please stop immediately, as you have stopped my posting privileges immediately.
Thank you

How is that getting around the filter?
A six hundred hour ban for that when you have the same 5 idiots over there saying the same 5 things all day long, day after day, going around the profanity filter and driving what was good about that site further and further away.
Brandon, I respect you.
I am a Texas graduate and love the Longhorns but enjoy your site more than any other.
I imagine you are very successful the way you have put this together.....and maybe you just don't give a shit about moderation over there...but it is inconsistent, absent, or reckless when applied.
I will still lurk because of the damn fine people I have met there and befriended.
I hope to meet you one day.
But right now, that Rivalries forum has gone to shit and it had NOTHING to do with me being banned.
I was actually starting to enjoy the health and fitness board more.
You do a very good job

The Politics board is good, too. Unfortunately, I've been banned over there before, too.
Maybe I'm just an asshole.

but the rivalries mods have never been consistent or logical in their approach to anything on that board.
FActs are they hate the board and nobody wants to mod the thing.
Until that changes, the shit will suck.

1: Storage capacity. I cant fit my full library on one but most normal users can. Keep in mind videos take up space.
2: It is a fantastic media device. You can view movies with good picture and sound quality, so if you travel or have down time a lot it is fantastic.
3: There are some really cool simple games out there too now, just need a wifi connection. Usually run free - a couple bucks.
4: The device has an absurd amount of functionality so if you like to explore stuff like you will be endlessly entertained.
The iPhone/iTouch (pretty much the same thing) is going to be the defining device of a completely new shift in how technology is used by modern consumers in developed countries. I think it is awesome, clearly. If you think it will be used enough to justify the money, definitely get it. Buying silly devices that you arent going to use much in a troubled economy is definitely a concern for most of us though, no one wants to waste hard earned green. Anything else?

Battery life?
Ya thats the real hinge of my point. I personally never liked the idea of a separate device. If its not mobile enough to take with my phone device now, I dont bother making it a real time priority. I wouldnt buy one, but I did move to the iPhone off of a very normal phone platform. If you will actually carry that device around then its cool and a blast, but I wouldnt carry it around much so I would never buy one.
Battery life isnt much of an issue anymore. Its more of an iPhone issue because of the 3G power needs, and the needs for processing power in the maps function when you track your location. Neither is applicable to the iTouch. Battery life is beginning to take steps again (finally), and we will see this becoming less of an issue, especially with the new sets of wireless technologies hitting the consumer market (Bluetooth v3, 802.11n, and G4 cell phone techs).
