5 is probably the most that will get in and A&M needs some help to move up cause it's going to be hard to justify adding A&M if they stay at their current position over kstate (which holds head to head) and okie lite*. A&M needs okie lite to lose both and they need to take care of business against the buffs and pulling the upset over mizzu would be great. either way, they need to get to .500 and 6th place to close out the season. then they need kstate, with it's weaker rpi etc. to lose the opening round of the tourney while they win 1 probably 2. if both lose the opening round, A&M probably won't get in. that's assuming the mid majors win their projected tourneys and no major upsets in the other tourneys. teams like utah st losing it's tourney will hurt the bubble teams cause they will get an at large. same with dayton and Xavier - one of them needs to win the A-10 cause they're both getting in regardless


*tourney performances not included. okie lite and kstate lose opening games and A&M makes semis or champ game, all bets are off

Hate to inform you guys, but Keegan is correct there. Dudes, you have to realize, if our RPI stays where it's at, improves, or doesn't dip below low 40s, they aren't going to leave us out of the tourney.

If A&M wins tomorrow, the big 12 will have six teams dancing. I'd even go as far as saying the three bubble teams (texas, ok st, and A&M) can lose their final game in the regular season and their first big 12 tourney game and still get in.

where have i dogged A&M's team? when they were playing bad i pointed out what was wrong and what they needed to get better. where have i pimped Ohio State this year? i seem to recall saying Xavier was way overrated right before they got their cornhole reamed against duke as well. if i'm you guys, i'd be liking my chances against either team. Xavier plays your style and Ohio State probably takes the dumbest shots of any team in the country. plus they suck ass on defense. they couldn't even stop a 5 point scorer from lighting them up for like 20 last night
