that movie made me depressed (requiem for a dream). it's one of the two most depressing movies ever made. that, and "leaving las vegas"

i went and saw the fountain cause it was directed by aronofsky (sp?) who also directed requim. the fountain was absolute failtacular.

Agreed. RFAD was extremely depressing, which was part of its greatness.

It started out decent, but finished terribly. As a general rule, I can only watch someone fly through space, alone, on a rock, with a dead tree, whilst having an uninteresting repeating vision for about ten minutes or so before I get bored. I blame my a.d.d. It really needed an ass to ass dildo scene to spice it up a bit.
