QUOTE
t's not our fault that Alabama, Arizona, and LSU aren't top 25 teams.

LSU probably would be ranked except they lost to some crap team from the Big 12.

Alabama was pretty good three years ago when we set up the home and home.

The big 12/pac 10 showdown gives us Arizona so that's not really our decision either.

Combine that with the fact that we're not exactly "america's team" and that we weren't invited to a bigger tournament and I'd like to know who you expect us to be able to schedule.

outside of A&M, lsu has played absolutely nobody

I still don't understand why those guys get pissed about our in-season rankings. They don't matter shit in basketball. Hell, not even the RPI and shit matters at this time of year.

rpi doesn't matter at the end of the year neither. i believe bilas put it best: 'who have you beaten and what have you done lately'. win and it takes care of itself

bobinator's pretty pissed off.

odd that people can't understand that we haven't played a single team in the top 40 and haven't been impressive at all in a schedule of complete patsies for the most part.

if we take care of business in conference, all that shit will work itself out.

exactly. there shouldn't have been but a couple of teams within 15 of A&M with that schedule yet they squeaked by most and lost to tulsa. yeah you can chalk it up as a hiccup but there's no real quality wins. bama is weak, lsu is weak and zona is starting to look like they might be a bubble team if they do get in. it's too fucking early to worry about the dance right now anyways cause that time is a month away. win 2 of the first couple of big 12 games and they'll be fine. drop all or only win one and it's time to start worrying. still plenty of ball left though so that can change the whole landscape of things

surf, you jackass, there's no time to worry....we were 0-16 in conference 5 years ago, therefore you shouldn't give a fuck about anything.

i want to see A&M become a year in and year out final 4 contender. none of this tulane shit where they made a decent run one year, followed it up with a decent season the next and then fell back off the national scene

all i want is to see a well coached team. if we don't have the talent but we're well coached and disciplined, i'm fine with that.
