Friday night some jackass rear ended my old truck that was parked in the street. Not sure how he managed to drive away. The truck jumped a curb and ended up about 15 feet further from the spot it was parked. My 'crazy ass' neighbor had some friends over that decided to chase the driver down. Thankfully they caught up with the dude and got his plate and a vehicle description. They called the cops and were told to stop following the perp.

Now, three days later I still haven't heard from the cops and every time I call them I just get voicemail. Pretty useless. Thankfully I have a new ride and I was just trying to sell that one. Now I'll just get my insurance check and be done with it!

Somehow there is only one person in the Austin Police Dept that can handle my report and she is out until next week. So basically if I had no other ride, I would be fucked for a couple of weeks while these lazy fucks spend all day looking for evil speeders on Mopac.

Thank God I am not poor.

Sombody drove through my mom's 5 strand barbed wire fence on December 14. My mom called the Coryell County Sheriff's Department every day for about five days to get them to write a report. Several times, they promised to be right out. We even located the guilty party's vehicle, and it sat disabled on the side of a nearby road for 2 days because of the damage.

Still waiting on someone to do something about it.

This is why people can't trust the police to protect them. They will always be too late.
