BCS snub, i can live with that.
Harrell not getting invited to Heisman Ceremony, are you fucking kidding me?
college football is a popularity contest, and we are the new kid who dresses differently.
you'd be defensive about everything too if you supported a school that had to put up with this shit. yall may be blowing cock now, but at least you have the comfort of knowing that if you ever get good again, you wont be fucked around....because you're cut from the same mold as old school college football which makes you one of the (semi) popular kids.
If i were Graham i would throw for 700 yards against Ole Miss and have FUCK ESPN written on my forearm.

The BCS and ESPN and x box killing this sport that I love.
I really feel like this year, from a Longhorn point of view, was unexpected success followed by the feeling that you wasted a lot of time in a rigged system.

And I agree with 3+, the general commercialization is making a mockery of CFB.

Colt is our best offensive player....we don't have a running back...it is just that guy doing everything.
Orakpo is our best football player and the leader of that team.
He scares the fucking piss out of the freshmen when they get here....we will miss that.

dude, i know what you're saying here, and you're exactly right...stats alone cant get you an award like the Heisman.
but Cumbie and Kingsbury didnt have their team in the Top 7 for most of the year and in the thick of the national championship race until the 2nd to last week. and they didnt win 11 games.
and neither of them had stats anywhere NEAR as impressive as Graham's.
he deserves to be there as much as anyone. i feel bad for the guy

next, outside of being a tech alum, how in the fuck can you possibly 'feel bad' for harrell? He personifies dewsh bag with every breath he takes. I understand being upset he got snubbed, bc its really a snub at your university, but i dont think many(aggies or not) would feel bad for that dewsh rocket if his uncle banged his mother while beheading his dog in front of him.

Ht picked Tech to win the conference because it was going to help him deal with the emotional roller coaster he would go on if Tech actually happened to win the conference. He didn't pick them because he likes Tech or actually thought they were the best team. Don't know why what team he picked on a message board would have that much of an effect on him, that is for him and his therapist to figure out.
I'm not a huge Harrell fan myself, but I’m sure if he were in an Aggie or Horn uniform, the respective parties would feel completely different about him. It is cool when McGee talks shit on the field, or Tellus runs his trap, but that comes with the (enter team color here) goggles that we all wear. The snub at the university is the worst part of it. Name one other BCS school that would get the same treatment. A QB with those stats, 11-1, and top 10 in the country from any other school, would at least get an invite.

what you DONT see is all the class that he shows with the media, the amount of time he gives back to the community, and the things he does with his church in lubbock. the people that KNOW him say he is a class act, through and through. I would be willing to bet that McGee is a class act as well, he's just had a rough go at it so his emotions get away from him sometimes.

i reasoned many times why i had tech taking the south and the big XII and yes, i thought some of it was the fact that eventually it'll work out but i also thought they'd be a great club.
that being said, my horn friends and i still laugh at the "to-do" tech fans make in public and hearing conversation about your "top 5 program" still makes people laugh out loud.

jarvorskie and martellus did what? lane guaranteed a win and dogstomped ut...martellus did a horns down sign as a joke with roy williams....yeah, terrible.
the "late hit" that wasn't flagged? sounds vicious. almost killed, though, right?
harrell's antics are bushleague and the mocking of an injured ref finally put it over the top.
i'll agree on the taunting of sergio but that doesn't compare at all with someone sprinting to the ref every time he's hit and unstrapping begging for a call. kid has some serious growing up to do and won't last long in the league if he's going to cry and whine like a bitch any time someone actually hits him.

no, lane guaranteed a win and got dogstomped in lubbock....which may or may not be where he openly wept.
