I'm looking at that or a Chevy Z71, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I should have bought one when they were freaking out about gas prices and giving those things away. (Got a quote from a dealer in Houston for a Chevy Z71 Ext. Cab, LT1 package for just under $26k out the door)

play the dealers on each other to get a great deal. i was getting quotes from all over the state. ended up driving an hour to high point to get the one i got. the local dealer thought i was bullshitting them until i dropped in with it and showed them the bill of sale. their loss and they have to change my oil for free for the first year

I got the 4x4 crew cab, sle2, z71, all terrain package. I think the only options it doesn't have are the nav, sun roof, and leather. I got them to go a grand under invoice, add a spray in liner and 6500 in rebates (they'll only offer 5000 up front). Way more truck than I need, but I've had my piece of shit base sierra (WT) for 8 years now.
All the dealers I worked with were willing to bring in trucks from up to 300 miles away for free; so if there is a color/package combo you want, make them find it. However, they will be more willing to bargain with a truck on the lot. There are some guys on the automotive board with access to the gm inventory that can tell you what dealerships have the truck you want.

No you're not. You couldn't afford that truck on your tard pizza delivery manager's salary + benefits. Not to mention that a truck like that is hard to park if you have to deliver pizza downtown in a jiffy.

I buy a truck for 11K off MSRP and gas comes down to 2.07 in Austin. Things are good.

My wife has been vehemently pushing me to get a new ride for about the last year, but I think i'm still about a year or two out. In an effort to find some middle ground, I decided it would be a nice gesture to surprise her with a camper shell for my truck. I'm currently in negotiations with mr. oscar vargas below. We're at $200 right now, but I'm hoping to get it under that considering I still have to paint it black.

Sweet looking truck aside from the razorback and chrome handle. I could only find one in that color in a 1000 mile radius with the all terrain package. All terrain gives the truck the denali dash but with brushed aluminum instead of wood grain. Unfortunately that gets rid of the bench seat meaning road head is harder to come by (not that a married dude gets that)
