Never been in that situation, but I've made some horrendously stupid financial decisions that have cost me $30,000 in the blink of an eye. It sucks and it hurts, but it is gone.

I wonder if this guy is real or not. It seems like there would be other routes to go than asking for 2 bucks a person on a message board.

no but i was making ends meet and living off less than $40 every 2 weeks. i still make large dinners and eat the leftovers for 2 or 3 days straight sometimes (depending on what it is). those cheap ass $.50 microwavable pot pies grow on you too after you've had to live off them for a year or so. still eat them for lunch at least once or twice a week

i agree. my sister used to go up to people when she was at nc state and ask them for a quarter. that little scam was netting a couple hundred a week. wish my dumbass would have thought about that one

no. she has all kinds of fucking scams. you remember the 16 CD's for a penny deal? she had more fake names than all of us have had socks. she still tries to get the free cookie in the deli's at the supermarket where they pass them out to kids under 12. when i come out there i will call my mom and she can tell you all the other scams i've forgotten or don't know about that my sister's pulled off. she is also loaded like a motherfucker and still runs scams. hubby is like one of the top dogs for some insurance company. he was really high up in GMAC before leaving them for who he's working for now. they're based outta seattle but he lives in atl

we all lived in nc. my dad used to work in naval communications installation for AT&T and got transferred down here while we were still in school. swear i told this story before but when i was in elementary school i almost got his ass fired for taking blueprints to a naval ship to school for show and tell. god's honest truth.

I honestly don't know that feeling and I don't come from wealth, but like Techsan said above I have made some poor financial decisions in the past that have cost me. I choose not to do that again.

i made a few driving decisions that cost the fucking shit out of me. cost as in house payments for monthly insurance not including i couldn't find anybody to insure me for like 3 years because of some of my stupid stunts when i was around 21

I got into Hobby about 11 pm this last Thursday. I went home via Westpark TW, which takes me to the 610/WPTW intersection. The dude that sits out there ALL OF THE TIME, was out there (at 11 pm, a day before a hurricane) with his bucket and sign "Help if you want to"...or something like that. (Sammy knows the guy I'm talking about) Maybe this guy should the same thing.

some of those panhandlers make more in a year than we do. i mentioned the dude in greensboro who had an $80k job and made over 150K panhandling on the wendover exit in greensboro. news 2 followed him for like a week. motherfucker drove a mercedes and worked right by the exit. he'd panhandle all day and go to work during the evening before finally going to his house to go to sleep before doing it all over again the next day. fucking unreal what some people will do

sounds fishy. he had a 4 year scholarship which paid for everything, but now it's up, and he owes A&m $20,000??? i'm sorry, but A&M does NOT cost $20,000 for a year. i don't care what inflation has done since i graduated, but i racked up $19,000 in loans over 4 1/2 years (yes, i had some scholarships to pay for some of it).
