they couldnt make it up at seasons end because the cubs would be in the playoffs and the astros would be golfing...... cool.gif

FOOTNOTE: the games being played in Milwaukee is NOT the reason that houston had 1 hit in 18 innings....

Bullshit....it definitely had a lot to do with it. That is basically a home series for the Cubs when it was supposed to be a home series for the Astros. It doesn't matter though, Cubs will choke yet again and then we can once again laugh at all of the miserable, obnoxious fans who will blame it on some fuckin curse.

even if those 2 games were played on the moon, with the picthing the cubs threw out there the outcomes would have been the same..... dont kid yourself about that, the cubs have the best record in the NL and 2nd best in the majors for a reason...

Yeah right....playing those games at Minute Maid indoors in front of 40,000+ fans where the stros have been on fire really wasn't that much different than having to travel to Milwaukee and play outdoors with probably about 20 Astros fans in the stands. You're absolutely right.

Almost like trying to say that us playing Miami this weekend at Miami vs in College Station wouldn't be much different.

The Astros got fucked with the help of Uncle Drayton (their own owner), who agreed to this shitfest of a series. Fuckers landed in Milwaukee at 2 PM yesterday, a day after the biggest disaster in the history of the city, and then played 2 games in 24 hours against the first place Cubs. Fucking bullshit.

Rangers were home tonight plus they wanted somewhere indoors so there was no chance of a rainout.
