that's like wakeboarding. skim boarding is fun but it hurts like a motherfucker when you bust your ass. shit you can skim board just about anywhere. all you need is wet ground pretty much. i've done it a few times. one of my friend's sons is really good at it. it's sort of like running and jumping on a skateboard, landing so the boardcomes out from under your feet - the speed it has, not the way you land on it. don't attempt it if you've been drinking or you'll end up eating sand (literally)
