I think Johnson should be starting. I have never like McGee. And don't get me started with that kicker.

Games like this make me wonder; do recruiting and facilities matter?

I'm serious.

If the NCAA allowed it, Mike Sherman could have made a conference call to the Arkansas State locker room this week and announced that he would give a scholarship to anyone on their team, and 90 percent of their roster would have burned up the road getting to College Station. I'll bet they don't have a single player on their team we even wasted a stamp to send a letter to in high school. And while we don't quite recruit at a consistent Top-10 level, we do have a team full of mostly 3 and 4 star recruits. And in the last 12 years we have spent close to 100 million dollars on our football facilities.

With what we have in terms of recruiting, new coach or no, we should not lose to Arkansas State. Play sloppy and win, ok. But not lose.

THIS, folks is why I'm always a pessimist about Aggie Football.

We are, without a doubt, the most underachieving, snakebit, pie-in-the-face, slip-on-a-banana-peel program in college football. It's not even close.

I know it's not done but this taboo system of not pulling scholarships is shit. Clean the fucking house and start over with jucos and d II kids.

Worst past of it this abortion is that while I was in the stands I new it was coming and didn't even shock me anymore.

mcgee still can't nut up to go downfield.

our D is just horrible, as was expected.

i had us at 6-6. 5-7 is a distinct possibility and 4 wins isn't completely out of the question.

Our kicker isn't much better at this point...but I think it's mostly jitters for him being 18 years old and all. He was bombing kicks in practice.
