Fran fucked McKenzie over too by the way. McKenzie was doing what he was told, which was covering Fran's ass. I understand the hate and vitriol directed at him, but his strings were being pulled by the head coach. Luckily, Sherman doesn't have a dude like that to try to take the heat off of himself.

it's carter's response to mckenzie that was what i read as the beat down. what he said in the first post though was some of what i saw that made fran's hire seem like a bad decision. flavor of the week coaches usually don't pan out well. saw an interesting thread the other day about zook and meyer. meyer won the champ with zook's kids but you take that away and what he's done is exactly what zook did and got fired for(blow leads, lose games he shouldn't etc.).

That's no doubt that Mckenize was/is a cocksucker. I guess what I mean is that it's Fran's fucking fault for even bringing a guy like that here. Shit like McKenzie pulled might go over in other lines of business, but a guy like that has no place in college football, especially in dealing with the fans/ticket holders. The fact that he was even here is on Fran.

oh, yeah...i absolutely agree with you on every count. fran's so fucking calculated that he really needs someone like that to handle personal shit. the weird thing is that mike had one of the biggest egos on that staff....fucking charlie north is another guy that i wouldn't mind taking a shit on.

just a bizarre situation all the way around from the fact it (the mck situation) even happened to the vernacular in his emails (wonderfully, be of good cheer, etc).

another weird deal was that mike mckenzie i guess had some relationship with texags and would get information on certain posters and check around town on them, especially if they were students.
