10-year, $38 million contract.

That would be more than all but what 10 D-1 football coaches.

Anybody know what Coach K and Roy Williams make?

I have said on this forum before that Gillispe should run, not walk, to Stillwater.

Pickens isn't fucking around.

I think only 1 football coach has a higher salary than that, not 10.

Thought we where paying Sherm 3 million.

Assumed that Myer, Saben, Miles, Stoops, Brown made at least 4

OK looked it up....LINK

Charlie Weis makes 4.2 million
Pete Carroll 3.8 million

So if oSu pays Self the reported money, he'd be the 3rd highest paid coach in the country.

No doubt T Poon has the money, no fucking way I can see that shit happening.

if all of that is true, seems like pickens is going waaaaay out on a limb. don't get me wrong. i think self is a great coach. but has he really proven he's worth that much? would he be successful in stillwater? right now, just the name "University of Kansas" is helping him get great recruits. he's not going to have that great name at OSU.

Do the dollars increase from here? Sadly, i think osu pulls a great coach. But I'm optomistic that osu falls flat on their fucking faces in this whole ordeal.

Totally agree. I just can't see any school (even with t boone money) paying a basketball coach more than all but 2 football coaches in the country. Doesn't oSu spending that kinda money look pretty foolish from a academic stand point. I'd think the faculty would go ape shit.

He's an Aggie. He used to write for the Houston Chronicle, now he's on 790AM radio in Houston. It was from his blog on Friday. He post every once in a while on TexAGs.

Hold on, you'd want one of the entity's probable alma maters to get worked over by a former coach because . . . ??? . . . you could ttt some threads on the bball board to attain bragging rights? Am I not following something here?

BCG has all the warning signs of a closeted fellater. And thats putting it gently.

I don't get this either. Some folks seem to be more loyal to Gillispie than to A&M.

turge's first season, and moreso his "i'm in a no-win" have pissed me off to the point of no return unless he seriously changes his demeanor.

this whole "throw your hands up and cry like a bitch if your team is shooting under 50%" and "we're sooo young with 2 3 year starters and 1 2 year starter" make me think he's too big of a puss to coach here. the excuses push it past the edge.

never heard excuses from bcg. he just got it done w/o throwing the players under the bus.
