Didn't you or one of your boys in the collective go to Ga Tech? I'm headed to Atlanta on Wednesday night for a long weekend to see this girl, an old flame if you will. Any recommendations on shit to do? Here is what she said in an e-mail....

Here's what I'm thinking:

Thursday - I will pick you up from the airport and we go to Twisted Taco (a really fun bar) for some food, drinks and game watching.

Friday - Go to the gym (I have guest passes) then shower and head to the city. We can do whatever during the day. I was thinking we could go to the World of Coca-Cola so you can say you did something "touristy", then grab a late lunch and head to the Sweetwater Brewery for a tour. You get beer tickets and get wasted while touring this famous brewery. They also have happy hour from 5:30-7:30 on Fridays. www.sweetwaterbrew.com After that, we can go home and change then head to Taco Mac (the BW's of Georgia) to watch TEXAS win at 7:27. Then it's out to Buckhead (6th Street lite) for a mini pub crawl.

Saturday- If it's nice weather we can drink, grill and fry by the pool then watch the rest of the games at Hudson Grill (another fun sports bar) later that night. There's a new bar called Fado's that I hear is fun so we can go there Saturday night.

Let me know if you have anything else you want to do while you're here (there's the aquarium, the zoo, Underground, CNN Center, ...maybe Bed, Bath & Beyond...I don't know if we'll have time). We can always just play the weekend by ear...Atlanta is also famous for the Pink Pony - if you get me drunk enough, I'll go :)

well i would tell you that traffic sucks there but you live in houston so you probably aren't worried. i-85 is a fucking parking lot if that tells you anyhing. check out the underground on peachtree

surf - yeah, for sure. I-10 here is probably one of the worst roads ever.

we usually just go to buckhead or some shit. churchhill's is where we the last time i was there, where i was tossed after i fell through my chair, which btw was a total accident. i think i had had 3 or 4 drinks by that time. anyways, it was a pretty enjoyable little place. that area is similar to rice village. i'd recommend that area depending on where she lives.

i'd avoid taco mac, but that's just me.

traffic IN ATLANTA makes houston look like fucking route 69. horribly planned, no grid, no synchronization. highways aren't too bad....no clue what to expect after the tornadoes.

to be "thoed" hit up the varsity adjacent to tech. its a fucking crunk ass version of james coney.

good luck with the roady ass as well. that deal always ends up really great or as the worst fucking time of your life. after last saturday, you're due for some good luck.

yeah puddy i don't know if you've been out this way before but nothing is a fucking grid out here. downtown areas are in most but once you leave downtown, everything is windy ass roads. ask sooner, he fucking hated it. oh and they don't label shit worth a fuck neither. s. carolina is the worst. getting out of columbia was a fucking nightmare. those dumbshits have no signs telling you which way to the fucking freeway and don't let you know you're on a state road. at least in nc they let you know the freeway splits 500 ft before it does

man that's like 5 or 6 hours from me. doesn't seem like it when you look on a map but it is. takes 3 and 1/2 hours or so just to get to greenville

oh, and puddy, seriously, do the geogria world acquarium. you can get in and out within an hour or so and its worth every f'n penny. they have 3 whale sharks and some other really cool shit. largest acquarium in the world.

make sure to hit that up.
